Karen Mckeown, a dedicated stargazer from Tullibody, Scotland, recently captured an extraordinary sight in the sky that has everyone talking. Her photos reveal a glowing swirling portal-shaped cloud, lighting up the night like something out of a sci-fi movie.

The peculiar formation has sparked theories ranging from rare weather phenomena to—you guessed it— alien activity. Social media exploded with guesses, memes, and a few panicked “hide your cows!” posts.

Even Tullibody’s Mayor, Thomas MacFadden, couldn’t resist adding his two cents. In an interview with the Tullibody Times, he said:

“If this is aliens, I just hope they know how to parallel park their UFOs. We don’t need another incident like the Tesco lot last Christmas,” referencing a local prank involving stacked shopping carts.

The Mayor wasn’t done yet. “I’ve spoken to our weather experts, and they say it’s likely just a lenticular cloud lit by the setting sun. But if it is a portal, I’ll personally welcome the visitors—as long as they bring snacks. ”

Meanwhile, residents couldn’t help but add their own spin. One local shared, “My dog’s been howling at the sky for days. Either aliens are coming, or he’s sick of my cooking. ”

Karen, armed with her trusty telescope, remains open-minded. “I don’t know what it was, but it was beautiful and strange,” she said.

While meteorologists point to science, others are holding out hope for something a little more exciting. Whether it’s a natural wonder or a cosmic mystery, one thing’s for sure: Tullibody has its eyes on the sky—and its humor firmly intact.
